I am attending a seminar this weekend and there will be discussion, demonstration and practice for obedience and bitework.
I am really excited because the presenters are Henning Wald who came 6 in the 2007 WUSV world schutzhund trials and Robbie de Jongh who came 11th. Robbie is a Schutzhund helper/assailent at world trial level I will be learning from some very experienced individuals. So good or bad, I will only have learned loads of informtion.

This is the second time I have taken Gabriel running to improve his fitness levels.
The first time he ran about 700m and started to slow down. I thought, whoa!! have I got my work cut out for me. He is a dog that I am training for sport and he is much too unfit to do his sport well.
I took him running again this week and Wow! has he improved! He ran approximately 2.5 km with ease.
Mental Note: I must remember to keep an eye on his paw pads so that he does not damage them the longer he runs. There was no damage done during this run. His recovery was good and I was very pleased with how he went.
